Movies: “The Nun 2” or “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3”: it’s not exactly an embarrassment of riches, is it?..TV/Streaming: “Untold Swamp Kings” on Netflix sounded like cheesy fun. Then I watched the trailer…People still hiss when Nicole Kidman’s promotional ad turns up before the feature in a cinema: maybe she can regain her dignity with her new Amazon series, “Special Ops: Lioness”…Books: I admire Zadie Smith so I’m reading her new novel, “The Fraud,” about a 19th-century criminal trial…Music: I confine my Springsteen listening pleasure to summertime, but with news of his illness I may extend it into autumn…Sports: Could we have to endure yet another Premier League season with Man City atop the standings?…I’ll check out NFL games this weekend, even though my interest doesn’t usually kick in until the weather turns colder.
