Olivier Awards: Company, Inheritance, Patti
No surprise that Patti LuPone won an Olivier award last night in London for her performance in “Company.” A little more surprising at what a Yank sweep it was in the biggest categories: “Company” (best musical revival), “Summer and Smoke” (best play revival), “The Inheritance” (best play), and “Come from Away” (best musical). Oh, sorry: “Come from Away” was written by two Canadians.
