Mamet Has Written A Play About Harvey
Chris Jones of the Chicago Tribune is reporting that David Mamet has written a play about Harvey Weinstein and it’s heading to Broadway. Mamet is the only American playwright who can have three new plays in a row flop on Broadway and still get produced. His “Oleanna” covered the topic of sexual harassment brilliantly 25 years ago, but the increasingly strident, right-wing Mamet has let his politics overtake his dramaturgy.
