Director Of Famed Boys’ Choir To Retire
My feeling about boys’ choirs is: if you like this sort of thing then this is the sort of thing you will like. Male children in dresses being ordered about by a middle-aged man is just too creepy a set-up for me to contemplate, though I will admit that nobody sings Christmas carols as traditionally as a boys’ choir. Especially if that choir is from King’s College, Cambridge. Which is looking for a new director for the first time since 1982.
