Forgive my veering away from things artistic today, but I needed a pick-me-up from the relentlessly downbeat nature of entertainment news. (Even the $450 million for the stoned-looking Christ in a da Vinci painting felt less than thrilling.) I turned to this account of the medical professionals who performed heroically in the wake of the Las Vegas shooting.
