Guatemalan Avant Garde Arrives in L.A.
LACMA, which is one of the biggest museums in the United States, is now home to one of the world’s smallest. Following a Kickstarter campaign and two weeks on the road, a life-sized replica of Guatemala City’s Nuevo Museo, an egg-shaped former kiosk that now shows contemporary art, has arrived on the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s campus for a six-month stay.
