Nureyev Movie Is Filming Now
My former colleague Julie Kavanagh wrote a terrific biography of Nureyev (left). And now a section of it — about the dancer’s defection to the West — is being shot as a movie called “The White Crow.” With script by David Hare, no less, and direction by Ralph Fiennes. The actor playing Rudi is unknown to me — Oleg Ivenko (right).
