Happy 50th Birthday, Nicole!
I still find her fuel-injected face a little scary, and most of her movies a bore, but I have to admit that Miss Kidman has had a lively time of it lately. “Big Little Lies” is HBO’s best series of 2017, “Lion” found her willing to de-glam, and she has a couple of great camp lines in Sofia Coppola’s new feature, “The Beguiled.” So happy half century, Nicole!
