I doubt that most of the millions who will flock to the “Guardians of the Galaxy” sequel will give a damn about reviews, but if they’d did they’d notice that they are less enthusiastic than the first time round for this Marvel property. Variety says: ‘What do you do for an encore to the best comic-book movie in years? James Gunn’s sequel is a witty and extravagant followup, but it works harder for less fun.’
