Movie: “Confederacy Of Dunces” Author
The movie version of John Kennedy Toole (pictured)‘s comic masterpiece “Confederacy of Dunces” has been doomed for decades, but we do have a forthcoming film version of “Butterly in the Typewriter,” based on Cory MacLauchlin’s biography of Toole. An actor by the name of Thomas Mann will soon begin inhaling pasta, ice cream and cheeseburgers to play the writer, who attained Victor Buono-like proportions before offing himself at age 31.
