Mary Tyler Moore: “Breakfast At Tiffany’s”
Here is some silent, color, 8mm footage shot by a cast member during a dress rehearsal during Philadelphia tryouts of the 1966 musical “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” It also includes footage shot of the cast traveling to the Forrest Theatre. The musical had been originally called “Holly Golightly” (as seen in the marquee), but was changed by David Merrick when it arrived on Broadway, where it was a colossal flop that ran only 4 performances.
