Tracey Ullman As Judi Dench, Angela Merkel
Tracey Ullman must have a soft spot in her heart for makeup artists, because she is keeping a crew of them employed with her new sketch comedy series, “Tracey Ullman’s Show,†which receives its American premiere Friday night on HBO. Not all of the sketches are home runs, but even in the weaker ones, it can be fun just trying to figure out which character she’s playing and how the crew managed to effect such a transformation.
