Imelda’s “Gypsy”: Next Month On PBS
Imelda Staunton seems to be doing all the classics in a gulp: in 2017, she’ll star in “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” and “Follies” in London (she recently did “Sweeney Todd”) and her Mama Rose in “Gypsy” will come to Broadway in 2018. But why should I pay top dollar to see her in “Gypsy” when I can see it for free on November 11th on PBS?
