Shep Smith Comes Out As Gay
I won’t be jaded and say of this news: duh! Instead, I say: welcome! My only gripe with the revelation by this Fox News anchor (center) is his support of former network chief and Trump advisor and alleged serial harasser (Roger Ailes, left). Smith says that Ailes “was as nice as he could be to me.” Of course he was: you weren’t one of his 55 or 60 types. To unpack further the sorry aspects of a gay man working for Fox News would require a book-length dissertation, and it’s only Monday so I’ll spare you.
