Ryan Phillippe Is A Big “Shooter”
The Ryan Phillippe-starring TV adaptation of the 2007 action thriller will premiere on Nov. 15 on the USA Network. “Shooter” was initially slated to premiere in July, but USA pushed it back a week due to the sniper attack in Dallas that month. The network later decided to hold the show for the fall. The series finds Phillippe playing Bob Lee Swagger, a former Marine marksman who believes he was set up in a plot to assassinate the president of the United States. On the run, Swagger must stay one step ahead of the authorities while also searching for the real shooter.
