I have always loved Leonardo DiCaprio as an actor and his cause — the environment — is the most pressing of our time. And I’m sure that he and the President will have lots to talk about next month when they parley at the White House. But Leo is better at talking the talk than walking the walk. DiCaprio doesn’t always practice the carbon footprint aware lifestyle that he preaches. He jumps on a private jet at a moment’s notice and, when private jets are used, the carbon dioxide emitted goes up hugely — between seven and 20 times, depending on the plane.
