Ah, That Wacky Tim Burton!
The only thing missing from “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children,” Burton’s latest, is Johnny Depp. (We have to settle for Rupert Everett, Alison Janney, and Dame Dench.) The reviews are terrifically mixed. The Guardian says “extremely pleasing.” The Wrap says “dreary and dull.”
