“Multiple Maniacs”: The Very Oral History
John Waters‘ second feature is 46 years old and has gotten a beautiful restoration — even Waters thinks so. He and his surviving cast members (including Mink Stole, pictured) sat down with the Baltimore Sun to remember how the movie was made. Upon release, the Baltimore Sun reviewer said, “Waters’ first talkie is also his first sickie.” Of course, John used that in the ads.
