5 Reasons To Love Cleveland

There will be many reasons this week not to like Cleveland. So let’s remember a few of the reasons that make the city worthy of praise:
1) Cleveland Museum of Art: Renowned for its holdings of Asian and Egyptian art, the museum also has a well-respected conservation department, headed by Marcia Steele.
2) Cleveland Orchestra: This ensemble has long been rated one of the world’s ten best. Under Franz Welser-Most, the orchestra continues to flourish.
3) Rock And Roll Hall of Fame: I don’t always agree with the selection of inductees (Judas Priest still hasn’t made the cut: absurd), but it’s a lively place to visit.
4) Cleveland Indians: Currently the team with the best record in the American League, the squad continues the tradition of baseball love on the shores of Lake Erie.
5) Cleveland Cavaliers: I am no fan of me/me/me LeBron, but I have to acknowledge the brilliance of this team’s comeback this year, to give the city its first major sports championship in forever.
