Cumbie Stars In New “Hollow Crown”
The BBC continues its “Hollow Crown” series with more of Shakespeare and his history plays. The new project takes in the three parts of “Henry VI” as well as “Richard III,” all directed by Dominic Cooke and conflated into three parts. The casting, as before, is weighty and includes Benedict Cumberbatch as Richard III and Judi Dench as his mother Cecily, Duchess of York. PBS broadcast “The Hollow Crown” before and I assume they will again this time.
