Grimes Performs Schubert’s “Ave Maria”
Grimes stopped by Annie Mac‘s BBC Radio 1 show this week for a three-track live session and interview. Joined by HANA, Claire Boucher performed “Flesh Without Blood” and “REALiTi” from last year’s Art Angels. She also covered Schubert’s “Ave Maria” (listen here). Grimes also chatted with Mac about her writing process, the “Myspace hype” surrounding her first record Halfaxa, co-directing the “Kill V. Maim” video, and more. She also revealed that she’s currently editing a new music video, with plans to shoot another clip soon.
