“Star Wars” Tops MTV Nominations
Oscars what? The 2016 MTV Movie Awards’ nominations have been announced and the movies with the most noms — “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” with 11, “Deadpool” with 8 — are movies that I (and millions of others) enjoyed more than we did “The Revenant” and “Mad Max” and most of what this year’s Academy Awards say fit to honor. I won’t be watching the MTVs, however: Kevin Hart is one of the hosts.
