Mary Berry Has A “Soggy Bottom”
Miss Berry is a judge on “The Great British Bake Off,” one of the only competitive reality shows that can be called charming. (Catch up with previous seasons here.) Mary’s sweet, Brit-granny demeanor allows her to deliver withering reviews of contestants’ work. Apparently, she herself isn’t always up to snuff, either. The first episode of ‘Mary Berry’s Foolproof Cooking’ was just going without a hitch on BBC Two until she cut into her Beef Wellington. Instead of being the crispy, perfect dish viewers have come to expect from the TV personality, we were met with an ‘undercooked’ meat with a ‘soggy bottom.’ Oh, dear.
