Lamar Leads Grammy Noms: I’m Shocked!

A young black man got the most Grammy noms? I’m stunned! (Adele‘s new album came out too late to be eligible.) In the just-announced noms for the 58th Grammys, Kendrick Lamar landed bids for album, song and record of the year. His “To Pimp A Butterfly” will contend with Taylor Swift’s “1989,” Alabama Shakes’ “Sound and Color,” Chris Stapleton’s “Traveller,” and The Weeknd’s “Beauty Behind the Madness.”
