Kennedy Center Presents Its Honors
Yeah, yeah, yeah: George Lucas, Seiji Ozawa, Carole King, Cecily Tyson, and Rito Moreno have done much to advance the arts. But, last night, when they were honored at the Kennedy Center, in Washington, it was Miss Moreno who stole the show. Eighty-three years old, and still glamming it up with the strapless gown and long white gloves. Love it! I never tire of pointing out that Miss Moreno is the only living person who has won all four major American awards (Tony, Emmy, Oscar, Grammy) in competitive performance categories. The Fox News stormtroopers have been busy criticizing him for going directly from his terrorism speech to the Kennedy Center ceremony, but as we all know the Fox News stormtroopers would all like us to stay in our Muslim-hating bunkers at all times, tuned 24 hours a day to their mindless ranting.
