Boko Haram More Deadly Than ISIS
Here’s a reason why I’m not glued to the TV this week, as if ISIS is the greatest threat to civilization since the Second World War: A new report this week found Boko Haram has overtaken the so-called Islamic State as the “most deadly terror group in the world.†In other words, other terror groups, some of them run by Muslims, are perpetrating violence all over the world. But their atrocities — including one on Tuesday by Boko Haram in Nigeria, in which 34 died — rate barely a mention in the Western press. Western media seem only to care about terror when white people are killed.
