Capote’s Early Stories: Young Genius

Truman Capote would not be surprised to know that “The Early Stories,” just published, is being acclaimed as the work of a “young genius.” (Little Tru had a rather high opinion of himself.) The new collection includes 14 stories were all written before the author was 20. Some had been published before, but only in Capote’s school magazine.
