He died in harness: while on tour. Songwriter, producer and revered New Orleans R&B performer Allen Toussaint passed away at age 77 after suffering a heart attack. Toussaint died on Monday in Spain while on tour with his performance quartet. Toussaint was a legendary fixture of New Orleans R&B.
