“Game Of Thrones” Adds Bollywood Star
Bollywood movies are so popular all over the world that I’ve never understood why American-backed pop culture hasn’t snapped up more of its stars. We now have Priyanka Chopra on TV’s “Quantico” and this week comes news that a Bollywood star — Neil Nitin Mukesh (pictured) — will join the cast of “Game of Thrones” for the upcoming sixth season. “GoT” has been notorious in its double standard regarding nudity — almost always women not men. Perhaps Mukesh has been brought on board to restore the balance. He is known for his willingness to take part in nude scenes, as long as it is “integral.” He says, “I have gone nude [before] so why not for this?†he said. “I am not intimidated by it as an actor.â€
