“A Bigger Splash”: Tilda! Tilda! Tilda!
Luca Guadagnino’s “A Bigger Splash,” starring Ralph Fiennes and Tilda Swinton, made rather a smaller splash when it debuted at the Venice Film festival last month. The movie will also screen at the BFI London Film Festival on October 9th. For some reason a trailer has surfaced despite the commercial British opening happening in mid February and the U.S. release delayed until May 13, 2016. I was a fan of the director’s Visconti-tinged “I Am Love,” which also starred Swinton, so will check out “Splash” whatever the reviews.
