Mets Rookies Dress In Superhero Undies
New York is caught up in Mets fever, after the team won the division over the weekend. And now: Noah Syndergaard walked around the Mets’ clubhouse Sunday evening looking for his hammer. (Hammer? Cue the tee-hee.) He was part of a Mets group of rookies parading out of Cincinnati in superhero outfits, complete with Underoos. Syndergaard, the big righthander known as Thor, was actually disguised as He-Man from Masters of the Universe, but he did carry the Thor hammer as an accessory in the rookie ritual. Carry the hammer? You can’t make shit like this up.
