“Love & Money”: My FT Review

The Financial Times has posted my review of A. R. Gurney‘s new play, “Love & Money.” Bottom line: ‘This affectionate, altogether too predictable evening, directed gracefully by Mark Lamos, is designed as Gurney’s leave-taking. Thirty years ago, with “The Dining Room” and “The Cocktail Hour,” Gurney made his name with acerbic comedies that put his tribe — white Anglo-Saxon protestants: WASPs — under the microscope glass, or, more precisely, the gin glass.’ Maureen Anderman and Gabriel Brown lead the cast.
