Sheridan Smith (left) is a big star in London, and her stardom was sufficient to sell out the entire run of the Menier Chocolate Factory’s upcoming production there of “Funny Girl.” The million-dollar question remains: when the hell will the show be revived on Broadway? It’s been 50 years, people! Or should I say “People”? Is there no Broadway star with the guts to withstand comparisons to Barbra?
