“Carol” Has A New Trailer
In the trailer for Carol, Cate Blanchett is fixated on Rooney Mara. StudioCanal UK has released a teaser trailer for the ’50s-set lesbian romance drama, in which a woman in her 20s (Mara) who works in a Manhattan department store meets Carol (Blanchett), who is trapped in a loveless, convenient marriage. Directed by Todd Haynes, the film is based on Patricia Highsmith’s novel “The Price of Salt” and also stars Kyle Chandler. It played at the Cannes Film Festival in competition this year, where Mara won Best Actress. Can’t wait to see it.
