Final “Downton” Season: New Photos
The cast of Julian Fellowes‘s period drama are back for a sixth and final series, which will air in Britain in September and in the US in January. The series will pick up six months after the end of Series five, in 1925, and follow with the years 1926, and 1927. The final episode ends on Christmas day, 1927. One plot point about the new season: the Dowager Countess (Maggie Smith, pictured) finds herself in a death match with Cora: who will prevail?
