Uggie, the Jack Russell Terrier who captured the hearts of millions of cinema-goers after he starred in Michel Hazanavicius’s 2011 film “The Artist,” has been put down at the age of 13, after a battle with prostate cancer. “I will forever hold him in my heart and never forget his infinite love for chicken and hotdogs,†said Sarah Clifford, an animal trainer who worked with Uggie.
