Bloomsbury: Slutty Snobs Or Early Punkers?
The Bloomsbury Group. You know: Virginia Woolf, Vanessa Bell, Lytton Stratchey, et al. Now, screenwriter Amanda Coe has attempted to tell the interweaving stories of the group’s members in her three-part drama, “Life in Squares.” The series takes its title from Dorothy Parker’s quip on Bloomsbury, that they “lived in squares, painted in circles and loved in triangles.”
