The Financial Times has posted my review of “Penn & Teller on Broadway.” Bottom line: ‘This 95-minute evening, a compilation of magic and comedy routines that Penn and Teller have perfected during their 40-year partnership, does have an intellectual component. Audiences may come to see a rabbit pulled from a top hat and witness a pygmy elephant vanish, but they also get to hear Penn discourse on the metaphysical difference between a trick and an illusion.’
