“Everest” To Kick Off Oscar Season
After the summer doldrums, the Oscar season heats up in earnest with the start of the fall festivals, beginning with Venice. It will open with a too-Hollywood affair, “Everest,” an “epic story of survival” starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Josh Brolin.
