The Financial Times has posted my review of “The Tempest”: ‘I wish I could report that a Prospero-ish wave of the Public’s magic wand has resulted in yet another delightful free-to-the-public evening. But this production, directed by Michael Greif and starring Sam Waterston, flits and darts around the vast outdoor stage, with sea-wave panel backdrops, in search of something coherent or at least interestingly chaotic.’
