Dylan Thomas’s Life In New York
The new feature film “Set Fire to the Stars” portrays a small slice of Dylan Thomas’s life – the week that he came to the United States in 1950, when he was hosted by poet and literary critic, John Malcolm Brinnin. The film was shot entirely in Wales, where the filmmakers created a “smoke and mirrors New York.” The real-life Thomas is pictured in one of his favorite New York haunts, the White Horse Tavern.
