Billy Elliot To Be Next Spiderman?
According to this report, the three actors in the final running to play Spiderman in the next iteration of the franchise are Tom Holland (pictured), Charlie Plummer, and Matthew Lintz. Holland made a very impressive screen debut in “The Impossible” and will be in the upcoming Ron Howard film “In the Heart of the Sea,” a true story about a Nantucket whaling vessel battling a giant sperm whale. Holland played the title role in “Billy Elliot” in London in 2008 after first playing Billy’s best friend, Michael, for three months.
