An Unmissable Shakespeare Production
I’ve always said I want to live long enough to see Cher star in a revival of “Mame,” but I may have to settle for this: Steve Guttenberg (pictured) starring in a revival of “Henry IV, Part 1.” Hudson Warehouse, which is giving Gute the opportunity, has retitled Shakespeare’s classic the more digitally hip “Henry 4.1.” Not to worry, the star of “Police Academy” is not playing Falstaff; he’s the Earl of Northumberland. The actor and the company will be presenting the work from June 4-28 at The Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument, in New York’s Riverside Park. Guttenberg has a thing for New York City parks — he once jogged bottomless in another one.
