Jonathan Rhys Meyers apologized to fans through his fiancée’s Instagram account after photos the actor holding what appeared to be a vodka bottle on a London street surfaced this month. “Mara and I are thankful for your support and kindness during this time. I apologize for having a minor relapse and hope that people don’t think too badly of me,†Meyers wrote on Mara Lane’s Instagram account alongside of photo of Lane. Johnny Boy, I don’t think much of you as an actor — “The Tudors” was bollocks. But I wish you all the bloody best as you recover from your relapse.
