Peter Dinklage Sings For Charity
Characters die on “Game of Thrones” a lot. Peter Dinklage rubs that fact in through a song about the show’s dearly departed that benefits Red Nose Day, “a campaign dedicated to raising money for children and young people living in poverty.†As Dinklage reminds us, the character he plays—Tyrion Lannister—is still kicking, but others aren’t so lucky: “Remember Ned Stark, he was a lot of fun,†Dinklage sings, “but he didn’t make it past season 1.†Robert Baratheon and Joffrey also get shout-outs. Dinklage’s performance is a preview of what’s to come when NBC airs its first-ever Red Nose Day live event Thursday from 8 to 11 p.m. EDT.
