Natalie Portman To Play Jackie Kennedy
Natalie Portman will star as Jackie Kennedy in “Jackie,†about the first four days in Jackie Kennedy’s life after the assassination of her husband, President John. F. Kennedy, when she lost the love of her life but won the love of a nation. Darren Aronofsky will produce while Pablo Larrain (“Noâ€) directs. Portman is tiny while Jackie was quite tall; otherwise, the casting is quite good. The project reunited the “Black Swan” team, although not in the same capacities. And since the story is what happens after JFK dies, there won’t be much need to cast a star as the President, since he will presumably only appear briefly in flashbacks.
