Florence Welch Breaks Foot
I mostly avoid mentioning Coachella, the California festival that used to be mostly about music but is now about marketing and Instagram. But as a big fan of Florence Welch (pictured) I must mention that during the Florence and the Machine’s set at Coachella over the weekend, she jumped off stage and broke her foot in the process. “Unfortunately while this heals, my performances will have to be somewhat stripped back,” she writes. In the note, she says that she’s “devastated,” but will still do the shows. She says she’ll likely be fully healed by Glastonbury. “I understand this is not what you were expecting, but I hope it’s just as enjoyable,” she writes.
