Booker Int’l Prize Shortlist: No Knausgaard

Norwegian writer Karl Ove Knausgaard (pictured) may be the best-selling darling of the international literary set, but he didn’t make on the shortlist for the Man Booker International Prize. India’s Amitav Ghosh is arguably the best-known writer internationally to make the ten-person shortlist, which includes Lebanon’s Hoda Barakat, Argentina’s César Aira and US poet and writer Fanny Howe. The award carries a $100,000 payout.
