Fans may be taking to Twitter in their hundreds in an attempt to #SaveAndrewGarfield, but the new merger between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures will mean a new casting for the role of Peter Parker in the forthcoming “Captain America: Civil War.” While it’s not yet clear what direction Marvel will take their new Peter Parker, if they’re sticking to his creation in the comic book then the character is an adolescent orphan whose skill and fascination with science makes him vulnerable to bullies at high school.
