Shirley Horn Song I Didn’t Know
“I’m Gonna Laugh You Right Out Of My Life” is a song by Cy Coleman and Bill Henderson, not by Shirley Horn, but Miss Horn sings it on the 1999 album “The Art of the Song,” from Charlie Haden Quartet West. Don’t know why I never heard this work before, but I have now remedied my ignorance, and you can, too, if you listen to the above. (Ignore the visual, which is some strange montage of white people.)
